Well now... it's been a while since I've been on. I'm not dead, just dealing with hard times from the economy like most people. I've been popping in and out occasionally.
The reason I ordered a halt on Tamers torrents was because of a small, but prominent, portion of the fandom that preferred subpar translations and still feel they need to get their rocks off by trashing my work when I (and several other Japanese proficient individuals) am confident in the correctness, if not initial roughness of my work.
Admittedly this project began for me back in 2004, it's been 4 years and I haven't put out much work. i've been quite busy in-between eps, mostly around as a hole-filler for some of the most difficult parts in episodes of other series. I've done work on Adventure, 02, Rockman. In terms of frequency of my translating, I could be described as a very poor translator. My actual speed is approximately 2-4 hours per episode on a first pass with typing. Considering I don't have a script on me, that is actually very fast. I can translate in real-time. So by that standard, one could also argue that I am an incredible translator. In either case, in between translation hiatuses, I get faster and better each time. How? I don't know.
Anyway, I feel at this point that only the most die-hard of fans remain in the fandom and continue to remain true to the level of quality our group has painstakingly kept since our inception. Therefore, I am permitting the continuation of Tamers torrenting. I thank everyone that has supported me and respected my decisions all of these years, especially Gaia-chan, and I promise that I will one day finish this series.

Thanks so much!
I'm really incompetent with IRC, so i've been banking on the torrent release for quite some time... Thanks again for removing the ban and keep up the good work.

Thanks, Takato.
I am also incompetant when it comes to IRC, but I had ventured on their in order to obtain Tamers episodes.
Whilst I would still be willing to go on IRC to get them, this makes it a lot easier for me.
And I've never been interested in any other Digimon fansubs other than wpp's.
I appreciate how life get in the way of many things, so I will await any new releases with patience.
Many thanks.

wow. i didn't know that you had put a ban on tamers torrents. i'm fairly new so...*shrug*
those people should not have dissed your work. this is something that you decided to do on your own time. if they didn't like your work, they should have gone else where. that's my piece.
i'm glad that you decided to put tamers back up though. it's my favorite season. i'll be patiently waiting for your next update.

It's people like you who make listening to Melissa Fahn screech over bad rock-n-roll Rika né Ruki's mysteriously re-written dialogue all worthwhile by bringing the hope that it will not forever be that way.

Thank you Takato and the rest of the team for your hard work.
You are doing your best to give us greedy leechers what we want. We shouldn't have to right to complain.
Nobody has all the time in world to do everything they want to do. Slow isn't bad; fast isn't good either. It might be annoying for us leechers, but honestly, I believe you guys are trying to do your best to make the releases the as close to perfect as possible before releasing. Take your time. The true fans will be waiting patiently.
As for the torrents, I thank you for allowing them. It's not that I'm completely IRC imcompetent, but I still do prefer torrents over it.

hi, actually registering on the forum to reply here.
i first started keeping an eye on WPP because i heard someone was doing a quality job on one of my biggest childhood nostalgia series. namely, Adventure, 02, and to a lesser extent, Tamers. just adding my voice to those who are ashamed of the depressingly vocal swarm who don't recognize that quality takes time and that real life has to be more important than subbing.
i'm sorry for my own sake that i've never stood up and thanked you (and the others here at WPP) before, and so i'm doing so now.
thankyou for putting in so much work to give us all a chance to enjoy these series again, and for we linguistically challenged, for the first time as close as possible to how the original creators intended it.

Thanks for all your hard work, Takato and other wpp staff. <3 Don't worry about the stupid people who complain, they should be happy they got the subs or they can just go watch the raws or the dubs if they don't like your subs. <_< We are grateful to you for taking your time and subbing Tamers for us, so please don't get discouraged and keep up the good work. :3
Also thanks for allowing the torrents, since I don't know how to use IRC. :P I'll be patiently waiting for the next episode. Ganbatte ne. ^_~

I'm glad you're continuing with Tamers. I didn't know it was discontinue at one point. Lol I checked every couple of weeks for new torrents and waited patiently.
(It's hard to subtitle, so I didn't mind the wait.)
Actually, I didn't have a problem with the text in the subs. I could read it and understood what was going on, so I was extremely happy.
